You Need Me
People inhale the oxygen I produce.
It becomes one of their lifelines—
what they need for survival.
Just like their own blood.
But they cut me and dug my land.
Panned to build with cement and sand.
They wanted the spaces and businesses to expand
But the consequences? Will they be able to withstand?
They use me as their source of energy.
I am the land's partner for industry.
In agriculture, I was given as free.
Every drop they take, they're being carefree.
However, they took advantage of my kindness.
I am dripping out of open faucets.
They were simply thinking that I was limitless.
Little did they know how fearful they would be of the consequences?
I am one of the lifeline, mother nature
My resources were there to support a life as precious as a gem,
but I also had a life that they needed to nurture.
Be aware of the carelessness that will drive me to punish them.
