The Masters
I remember how they embrace each other,
How my dad tells mom how much he loves her,
And when the wedding ceremony gets over,
'I love you is what they can only utter to each other.
They were so in love like no one could bother,
Their passionate kiss feels forever,
Every special day, they automatically remember,
And when they celebrate, they become happier.
They were the couples that made me feel so loved,
It was so deep, like I was drowning in water that I didn't dive,
But it adds up to my feeling of being alive,
Their love is enough, which will not make me seek something I don't have.
It's overwhelming, and everything feels perfect,
They were the parents that many children will expect,
However, I thought it was a picture of a family that will not wreck,
But it turns out that I am their only subject.
Both of them mastered the act of pretending,
They just want to make me feel the love that comes with pain that is overbearing,
I didn't think that their relationship from the start was sinking...
That their beginning is already the ending.
