Stop Animal Cruelty

A poem advocating animal cruelty prevention
A poem advocating animal cruelty prevention

Those pair of dark, round eyes

are as cold as hard ice.

Yet there are flames that are flaming within.

revealing how they were fuming

against those precious animals that are surviving.

The next move is obvious already.

Guns are out and shooting helpless lives audibly.

Leaving houses and abandoning pets helplessly

getting sticks and hitting them badly,

Until the cries of agony are heard, sadly

They commit those cruel deeds,

Against those animals who also have needs,

My soft heart sank and completely bled.

imagining how those angels plead,

while slowly closing their eyelids.

Slowly losing my faith in humanity

I want all of them to face any penalty.

Mercy is not in their vocabulary.

They were monsters that felt no pity

for taking the lives of animals like losing their own sanity.

These have to be stopped for a very long time.

We are humans with intellect and the utmost understanding.

To kill is a crime, and it's not fine.

All living creatures are dependent on the environment and human beings.

and to create peace ought to be the prime.
