Every Drop Matters

Young Pilipinas Poetry - A poem to advocate safe water for everybody
A poem to advocate safe water for everybody

Every single drop of crystal-clear water,

undoubtedly needed and matter.

Numerous people on this planet,

The throats are dry and staying quiet.

They have access to what they need to use and drink,

but not clean out of every sink.

Sickness may come to the center,

See, dirty water isn't a lifesaver.

Extremely thirsty for a long time,

What if life turns into a straight line?

Some who have this need every hour,

are wasting too much, like it is an endless star.

Countless tongues are hoping to catch its excess drop.

crawling to the desert-like ground with a teardrop

It was like the darkest black and the brightest white.

Those in the dark are almost losing sight.

Some of those on that white side

are just not doing what is right and merely couldn't hide.

Then was the time, but it is not too late to save everyone.

Save water and make its filthiness be gone.
