Christmas to Remember
Christmas day is nearly here, A month to go, and gifts will fill the homes.
Excitement and anticipation are filling our hearts, A winter-like coldness is felt sipping through our bodies.
Our fellows are keeping their bills and coins, to spend it more on before Christmas eve and day.
Gifts to give are already planned, And meals to lay on the table are listed.
Preparation is going everywhere, Vacation trips are booked in advance.
Everybody is ready for the special day, to give presents and be together with loved ones.
But the true essence of Christmas, is to remember the birth of Christ.
To make Christ the center of our hearts and lives, And to reminisce about his love and sacrifices for humankind.
Christmas is not about gifts and money, It is about the hope and joy that Christ gave to us.
Let us remember how he lived and died for us, humans, to continue our lives with purpose in this world we live in.
