Change

We, Filipinos are great beings,

got tamed in Spanish times,

colonized by the Spaniards,

and became their slaves in our own land.

Rizal is a doctor and amazing hero indeed,

he knew whereof he spoke,

meant that indolence caused by illness,

as we got abuse and mistreated in history times.

During those times in history,

we, Filipinos are lacking something,

pride to stand for our country,

that we, people of our nation became indolent.

Nature is one of the causes of existing indolence,

the hot climate ought to adapt for chance,

it affects how we move for a minute as temperature arise,

adding up where our mother earth revolves nearer.

Aside from nature, reality caused literally the indolence,

bloody conflicts, war that reign in history,

inability of Spaniards to protect the Filipinos—slave,

that's the reality that took away the remaining hopes of Filipinos.

We, Filipinos shall learn from past experiences,

it's time to be united to build our defenses,

indolence must replace by education and progress,

change is necessary, seal in mind that liberty and education is the remedy.
