Before You Hook

A poem that promotes responsible fishing

See how calm the deep was,

how fishes moves and swam

enjoying their lives under it

reproducing as part of cycle.

As famine tries to hunt people

it invades the sanity

they can be greedy for anything

leading them to act irresponsibly.

Out of uncontrollable desperation

they might not remember the fisheries regulation

pushing them to commit any action

causing a large destruction.

By hook or by crook,

people can catch big then cook

consuming til all are gone

again, going back to hooking overdone.

To maintain ecosystem balance

do perform responsible fishing

known what to catch and avoid

use legal fishing methods for good.
