An Odd Wish

An Odd Wish by Colin Cris Celestial

One turn

feels strange

the world slows

its spinning space

as curious gaze

met each other

seeing one's reflection

with puzzled and thinking minds

Head turns

as bumped with each other

gazes interlocked with one another

lips formed into a sheepish smile

a tug in their hearts

was heard even from afar

fate moves into what awaits

indivisible strings attached as they part ways.

One look

two perplexed souls

But there's three people in one frame.

I, who foresee what's coming

but hides the pang of pain within

seeing the growth of their hidden attachment

I'm in the shadow, keeping my misery

But this is the pain I never wish to end.
