A Poem of Love in Time

A Poem of Love in Time by Colin
A piece to remind us of the reality of love.

You rush in my direction

of where my arms are open wide,

You embraced me and held me so tight

putting your palms that felt cold at my back

No doubt, everything feels right.

Your face rests on my neck

while breathing on my sensitive skin

Every contact is soothing.

naturally warm and comforting

I hope this has no ending.

A moment like this is overwhelming

taking me away from reality

too good to be true to exist

almost forgot to realize things

of what seems clear but perplexing

A love like this is poisonous.

reminds me of roses having thorns.

The time is under romantic enchantment

but the turning point is torment

remember that each moment is imperfectly perfect.
